Sandra Downs Property Management

We applied with Sandra downs property management two weeks ago. It was a good experience going in.

They looked at all of our paperwork including our service dog paperwork. Her grand daughter told us that all of our paperwork looked really good and that she's worked with our welfare worker before to get displaced people into homes, that she would have to find us a place with a yard because we have seridogs. she said she would call back within 48 hours with a approval or denial. 48+ hours later, no call.

So we went into the office and Ely told us we were denied and he wouldn't even tell us why. BS! I have 675 credit, no evictions and good income. Plus ALL the paperwork from the state, our Dr and county on our two certified service dogs.

So why were we denied?! I still wanna know!!

just saying people. You get what you give.

Sandra don't put up with your bad/filthy/rude behavior. To the poster that makes 3 times what the rent is..........go buy your own home then you won't have to rely on the maintenance crew or the management team. I mean really it cost a dollar at the dollar store for drain cleaner. I've used it myself.

I happened to go look at an apartment and area around it was mowed and manicured, the only problem i saw was the unclean people living there, drama going on and tons of cigarette buts all over the ground. Learn to be clean and neat and appreciate you have a roof over your head.

Keep your place a mess/noisy and if you look a wreck that's what you attract. Thanks Sandra for at least giving people the chance to have a place to sleep.

I am someone who is currently renting from Sandra Downs. My name is Cindy C.

I have to say reading all these reviews has me very upset she's been nothing but gracious with me. She even lowered my rent so I could get into a place for me and my girls. She's giving me multiple opportunities and I have appreciated her and all the management more than they knows. All the people that are complaining or have complained about her probably can't follow the rules or are just overbearing bitter renters that are ungreatful.

She goes out of her way to help people who can't find a place somewhere else or that no place will rent to them. Myself, for example. She lets people in and she gives them a chance! She's had more issues herself and you dont see her bashing anyones name online.

Shes stayed in bed for days upon days after she seen what people have wrote about her. You can tell shes fed up with bad tenants. I'm sure that if you were in her shoes, you would, too. If you mess in some way, she will tell you so you have the opportunity to resolve the issue.

- No reason to get hasty. Just do it! Fix her problem and then she doesnt bother throwing it in your face ever again. Any repairs that I've needed they've always been on top of it and fixed it right away.

If anything, I had missed them on a couple occasions that put off my repair. Sandra DOES take care of her tenants and she really DOES care about people. I hope people WILL Look past all these bad reviews. Everyone has their own opinion.

Make your own. Dont base it off of what all these people say. Don't even base it off of what i say.

I am only throwing out my opinion and my experience. I love my apartment and plan to stay with Downs Property for a long time!!

Once I went for vacation for a couple if days a neighbor call me that there was a paper in my door stating that they will be come in because we abandoned the place; I came back right away, went to talk to Sandra & she said that she though I was gone because my car was not there for a couple of days, I told her I paid my rent & I didnt have to tell her whether I go some where or on vacation; then months later she told me we have to move for no reason, so we sold almost everything we could not carry we us & within days she told us we can stay because the problem was not us but another neighbor, we moved anyway, I wish I couldnt have taking her to court. We always fix the apartment ourselves & try to keep up cleaning for infestation of roaches.

She almost didnt rent to me because i had tattoos. I had come out from Massachusetts to be closer to my family.

Had a full time and a part time job, made 3 times of what tbe rent was per month... she stated "oh, you have tattoos... i dont rent to people with tattoos..." so I said "oh.. its a mermaid"....?

And i somewhat laughed in her face... The ONLY reason she rented to me was because a friend of hers knew my uncle and she had told him to tell me about the apartments she had... if not for that, i wpuld not have gotten a place.....

cause i had tattoos. This woman is a discriminatory *** hole and needs to get a grasp on reality or someone is going to take her to court.

We livein one of her properties. She fixes everything in a timely manner and we haveno pro lems with her or her daughter. Sorry some of you had bad experiences I havent
